Despite the fact that our world is surrounded by toxins that we easily absorb every day, our bodies are efficient machines, and spend much time and energy expelling and eliminating such toxins, from tears, to sweating, to liver function, lymphatic involvement and elimination.  In addition, cleaning up our homes and our habits will help avoid such toxins.

  • When possible use environmentally friendly mattresses, carpet, cleaners, clothing and furniture.

  • Use non-toxic building materials in your home.

  • Install a water filter to get rid of chlorine and contaminants that are easily absorbed by the skin.

  • Vacuum and dust often.

  • Avoid exercising or living near major roads.

  • Avoid applying toxic chemicals to your body…such as nail polish, sunscreen, makeup, lotions.

  • Fill your home with plants that produce oxygen and absorb VOC’s.

  • Open up doors and windows to air out the house or workplace often.

  • Relax, rejuvenate, and detoxify your body.
