Jennifer Loyd works with companies to integrate sustainability into their business model, products/services, & marketing communications. Mrs. Loyd initially entered the Sustainable Business Market as a marketing specialist for a project focusing on a sustainable watering system involving a large flood plain irrigation system for food crops. The system, which was designed using recycled water and sustainable materials, combined water conservation with advanced growing methods.
Mrs. Loyd turned this knowledge and passion into a career as a Marketing Manager for a global manufacturer specializing in water conservation technology micro irrigation industry. After a lengthy career, she launched Market Intelligence Consulting (MIC), a consulting firm specializing in strategic development, along with her business partner, Terrell Brown.
Her work included research on various green and/or sustainable technologies, and eventually she was led to several companies promoting water conservation practices including hydroponics and synthetic turf products and services. Due to MIC’s expanding client portfolio within the green industry, coupled with a passion for green living, MIC launched Sustainable Synergy to specifically serve these sectors.
She earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Florida State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. As an undergraduate, Mrs. Loyd recognized the powerful relationship between psychological behavior, consumer purchasing habits, and the impact on lifestyle patterns. She uses her understanding of human psyche and marketing to provide top consultation to her clients.
