Is this really a secret? The human is a powerful tool. Too many people underestimate the power of postive thinking. Take our modern healthcare system for example. When an individual gets diagnosed with cancer, often times the doctors will deliver a prognosis....or rather death sentence.....of "Joe" you have 3-5 years to live. So people just accept this and go about there lives with this pending doom lurking above them....and ultimately they die, they accept the death sentence given to them. I think this propagates many individuals untimely demise. If people "believed" that they could beat Cancer and the docotrs didn't force feed the end of days spiel to them, I think our cancer survival rate would be much higher.

I think it is very difficult to overcome someone telling you that you have only 3-5 years to live. While I feel that you can in fact create your own reality, you need to be very strong willed or of strong mind to overcome something like this. I totally agree with what you are saying, I just think there are a lot of emotions tied to being ill that need to be worked through in order to overcome dis-ease or illness.

I think that the "Secret" movie and book did a great job at getting people to believe in the law of attraction, the power of positive thinking and intentions, but it goes far beyond that. You really have to battle yourself for a while to get your mind right, and sometimes you just have to let go of all the nonsense that is thrown at you by society. Once you begin to create your own reality, you really do begin experiencing things never experienced before. I can't believe how many shifts that I've made, since being exposed to the Secret, and experiences thereafter. I am far more happy and successful in all areas of my life.
